Kill Bill 2 was everything I hoped the first one would be. It was great. And Pai Mei is the greatest character in movie history.
When Vol. 1 and 2 come out on DVD cut together, Kill Bill will be one of the best movies I've ever seen.

Despair, I know... combine the two and it IS brilliant. However, the first one by itself is merely average, while the second one is brilliant. In all honesty, you can combine the two, cut 90% of the stuff from the first movie, and it will still hold together. Kill Bill Vol. 1 was just a few action scenes strung together... KB2 was a huge awesome movie filled with a great story, great QT dialogue, and Pai Mei.Quote:

Same, although my mom already bought Vol.1 and will most likely get Vol 2, I'm waiting for some big collectors set with the 3'000'000 hours of unseen footage bonus.
I agree with diffx and Stone. The first one was cool but meh, the 2nd was great.

And there was some seriously funny parts...the whole Pei scene was a god damn riot, I couldn't believe what I was watching (reminded me of the original Drunken Master where chan is doing inverted sit ups to fill a bucket of water a cup at a time).
There was some awesome music too. I'm definatly going to wait for the super box set.
