Yeah exactly - I wonder if it was the Portugal AM Fest - or whatever that was, the heavy metal fest out there. Just an example of bad booking though, Nickelback shouldn't have been at that show.Quote:

Even then their stuff wasn't knock your socks off good.
That's some funny shit right there. I probably would have done the same.....except throw a spear at his head.
Getting up in front of a crowd of people like that, especially if you know they aren't going to like you, takes balls the size of grapefruits.
I hate the band, but I respect them for trying to rock anyway.
Some of you in this thread need to eat a dick, and stfu.
If they knew thew would get booed and ridiculed, why would they accept the gig? They're professionals, they should get used to this kind of thing anyways. I respect that they had the balls to get on stage, but then again they were also stupid enough to get on stage knowing this would happen. On the bright side for them, they got to tell the audience off and get paid for it.
I've played plenty of shows where I was hated.
Sometimes thats just part of the fun... although I really don't understand why they took the gig. Not like they need to take shitty gigs anymore.
I can only imagine what 88mph would do in such a situation...
Shouldn't they be used to people throwing shit at them anyway like Green Day?
I don't think they came out of a punk rock club scene... so, no.
