Well people were throwing rocks at him, they got what they paid for.
Indeed, Nickelback sucks!!!
I actually have more respect for that guy now. That was pretty cool.
edit: make no mistake, I hate their music, but still.
Sweet, two anti-Nickelback threads in one day. Here's the other one:

TNL Respect +1
P.S. When was that concert anyway?
I think their music sucks, but I don't hate them.
But anyway, that was pretty cool. Walking out in the beginning of a show, excellent. The only Nickleback concert worth going to.
This is old, but still pretty hilarious.
"do we have any Nickleback fans in Portugal!"
....*Cricket, cricket*
"....A...Are you sure?*
What that clip doesn't tell you was that this happened at a heavy/extreme metal festival. It's only natural Nickelback wouldn't have too many fans there. :P
exactly, why were they even booked there?
Someone in booking probably was so greedy they missed the fucking obvious.Quote:

Yeah exactly - I wonder if it was the Portugal AM Fest - or whatever that was, the heavy metal fest out there. Just an example of bad booking though, Nickelback shouldn't have been at that show.Quote:

Even then their stuff wasn't knock your socks off good.
That's some funny shit right there. I probably would have done the same.....except throw a spear at his head.
Getting up in front of a crowd of people like that, especially if you know they aren't going to like you, takes balls the size of grapefruits.
I hate the band, but I respect them for trying to rock anyway.
Some of you in this thread need to eat a dick, and stfu.
If they knew thew would get booed and ridiculed, why would they accept the gig? They're professionals, they should get used to this kind of thing anyways. I respect that they had the balls to get on stage, but then again they were also stupid enough to get on stage knowing this would happen. On the bright side for them, they got to tell the audience off and get paid for it.
I've played plenty of shows where I was hated.
Sometimes thats just part of the fun... although I really don't understand why they took the gig. Not like they need to take shitty gigs anymore.
I can only imagine what 88mph would do in such a situation...
Shouldn't they be used to people throwing shit at them anyway like Green Day?
I don't think they came out of a punk rock club scene... so, no.
See if they'll eat shit.
There's no need to, they are already made of it! ahahahahahaQuote:

I've got nothing new to add but I gotta say that the clip is pretty damn funny. Nickelback is one of the worst bands I've ever heard.
As long as we're posting Nickleback stuff...

Give that a listen. How's that for song writing variety? :p
The local rock station, Live105 plays that mash-up all the time now. It's awesome.
If a crowd threw rocks at my band I'd piss on the audience. There is no reason to assualt anybody who is trying to entertain you.
They took the high road and left instead of being all pissy and shit and got beaten up like Tito Ortiz did in your sig.Quote:
