X-Men 3: News and info thread

So this movie did better than X2? Goes to show that people have no taste.

This movie was blatant gay rights propaganda.

I'm not surprised so many of you liked it.

They actually set up his return earlier in the movie. When he is teaching class he is talking about the ethics of putting the healthy consciousness of a man with a broken/no body into the body of a man with no mind. Obviously though his body disintegrated he was strong-willed enough to preserve his consciousness and inhabit the body of another person.

LOL, now there's something I haven't heard before.

Anyway I think I liked the movie as much as the others. X1 and X2 are really fun and good movies but they're not perfect and neither was this one. I mean, most of the characters got their development and face-time in the first two movies so I was expecting the big mutant/human confrontation and just shit I just wanted to finally see like the fastball special, a "Sentinel", Wolverine and Beast kicking ass, the Phoenix stuff, Magneto showing his stuff, Juggernaut in action.....shit like that.

I like how tobal says they don't have taste, in order to know if the movie is good or not, they have to see it.

I am sure the number of people who went to see it again was a lot different than X1 or X2

Of course. If people liked X1 or X2, they'd certainly go see the sequel. Besides, most people probably don't know about all the crap that went on behind the scenes with the making of X3. They just want more mutant tomfoolery.

The more I think about this movie the more I kind of enjoy it, it's weird. I still dislike the way Juggernaut was designed (aesthetic wise) but now that we know there'll be more of them and that none of these characters actually died or were cured I seem to enjoy it a bit more.

More Juggernaut vs. Wolverine in the next movie plz. Juggy tossing him through that house was too awesome.
