Actually, I've been strongly considering buying a CPS3 board, and I will not until it's emulated. I've heard that the hardware itself is quite flakey, though nobody ever told me exactly why or how, just I've heard that much. I don't want to buy hardware that's known to die easily. The reason I own no CPS2 games currently is because there's no simple way to prevent them from ever suiciding. I want a 3rd Strike cab more than anything, but in the event that CPS3 is ever emulated, at least my investment won't have totally gone to waste.Quote:

Speaking of CPS2 suicides and driving this thread further off topic, besides sending your boards to that one guy who can fix them, have any other ways of preventing this popped up, that anyone knows? I know, I know, change batteries while it's on and don't worry about it... but nobody can be vigilant about that forever, heh.
