I too think it rather lame.
I clearly butt heads with a TNL personality here and there, *cough*MVS*cough*, but I wouldn't turn down the opportunity to meet him. I don't think people are morons because I disagree with them. That is just ignorance.
Anyway, I have met Almaci and he is as nice a fellow as I've ever met. You could surely do worse for a chum out on the town.
Picking friends based on their political views, or intelligence, or social class, or looks, it all just seems silly to me. How do you expand your horizons or grow as a person by surrounding yourself with carbon-copies of yourself?
