Anyway, I have met Almaci and he is as nice a fellow as I've ever met. You could surely do worse for a chum out on the town.

Picking friends based on their political views, or intelligence, or social class, or looks, it all just seems silly to me. How do you expand your horizons or grow as a person by surrounding yourself with carbon-copies of yourself?

Almaci is, for the most part, an ignorant racist. There's a difference between having friends or acquaintances who you disagree with, and attempting to make acquaintances with people who don't seem to deserve friends.

Have some standards.

Do any of you feel as if your horizons have been limited because you don't count any nazis, or KKK members, or unrelentant stalinists amongst your group of friends? No? Good.

There's a difference between not associating with racists and overreacting to political differences of opinion on a message board.

Bush did it in the buildup to war, in every other sentance when he was talking about Iraq he used the words Al Queda and WMD thus half the people in the US started to believe that Iraq was involved in the 9/11 tragedy.

If he doesn't like him, he doesn't like him, and that's it. And there's nothing in the TNL TOS that obligates you to hang out with anybody in the forum should they be "in the area". Stone has every right in the world to not want to meet Almaci outside of the TNL board. Just because you guys think he's a nice guy doesn't mean shit.

The majority of the world didn't buy it, though. You're giving this administration too much credit. Their PR and propaganda tactics are crude and predictable. They successfully target people who are easily manipulated, but that isn't anything to brag about.

So much so that he attacked me personally several times on this site in the past whenever the things I said and predicted were vindicated.

I think it has less to do with intelligence level and more with the will to believe in things you have been preconditioned in.

Its verry hard to break out of that regardles of intelligence levels and always remember that a surefire way to piss people of is to tell them things wich they KNOW are true.
