Lets hope its a better sequel than DMC2.
Those screens from IGN show some great promise. Can't wait to pick up.

Looking back at it, DMC2 wasn't horrible, it simply failed to surpass the previous title.

Anyway, I gave some time to the VJ2 demo, and what can I say? They don't throw too much more at you that wasn't in the first game. Everything looks spiced up a little (powerups, meters, heart containers) the graphics are marginally upgraded, which is fine by me since I didn't have any sort of problem with the first. The music for the level I played (The dinosaur one) was the same music from the first level of the first game (Maybe they'll change it, I dunno)
The only boss I got to fight was this yellow tank with a drill bit in front. It was pretty cool, but easy for anyone who's played the previous game to death. You get to use slow and mach speed for the demo.
All in all, I enjoyed the demo, which should only reinforce my desire to own it soon after release.
It failed to equal it, or even come especially close.Quote:

The director mentioned he was able to add more environmental puzzles in this one which he originally intended.
