SNK announces combo bundles for 2004-2005

Today, SNK NeoGeo USA announced a several combo packages to be rolled out for the PS2 throughout the year, featuring two of their classic titles on one disc. The first set includes The King of Fighters and Metal Slug, scheduled for release during the second half of 2004. Then later in the year (Winter 2004), fans can look forward to the release of The King of Fighters 2002 & 2003. And finally, in Spring 2005, will mark the release of Metal Slug 4 & 5.

"We are excited about offering these four great games for the PlayStation®2" commented Ben Herman, SNK NeoGeo USA Consumer Corporation president. "This is a chance for all gamers to learn of the rich SNK history by easily acquiring an SNK title library for their PlayStation 2."

I wonder if there's a chance we'll ever see an Art of Fighting or "Sam Sho" combo?

I'm pretty sure it's official, but which version of KOF are they talking about for this fall release bundle? The metal slug is probably 3. They already released 2k and 2k1 and their packing 2k2 and 2k3 together sooo.....

Last Blade 1 and 2 combo was turned down by Sony last week and has been scraped by SNK USA. PSP want's Metal Slug 1,2,3,4,5 and X on 1 disc to release it on there. Also Metal Slug 3D was turned down by Sony but they are changing it to try for approval that was the second time it was rejected it.

On a personal note I have played Metal Slug 3D and at the moment its a bad N64 game at best and I don't blame Sony

more like guilty by association if i had my choice i would like to be doing work for Konmai or Capcom not SNK seems fun but its all hype

Wait till you see the arcade/home machine coming out. Its like the old acrade style with 4 selectable games but without the bottom cabinet so about 3 or 4 feet tall. i think its gonna be like 200-250 range its sound kinda cool though.
