Is anyone else pissed off by their anti-piracy ads in the theatres? I feel insulted when I spend money to see a movie to be lectured against piracy. I just emailed them complaining and hopefully others will too.

It makes no sense at all seeing as you are actually paying to watch the movie. Paying customers are the last people they should be lecturing to about piracy. Those morons...
the fact that i see television commercials in a movie theater is bad enough. why is an anti-piracy ad worse than, say, a doctor pepper commercial?
It is all insulting. I paid for my ticket now let me be.
They are treating their consumers as criminals now, and it's just getting out of hand.
The entertainment industry should just break off and declare Burbank its own country in which they regulate every aspect of their citizens lives and be done with it.
Those other ads definitely bother me too but telling people paying a lot of money to see a movie not to pirate seems worse to me.Quote:

They could be telling you not to videotape the movie, I guess. It never really bothered me more than any of the other (stupid) commercials they run.
YES!!!! The last 6 movies ive been to ive had to sit through that asshole stuntman telling us how he puts his life on the line and how it takes hard work and effort. I hate to tell him but if we're going to all of these movies then we apparently arent the ones ripping them off...the guys doing that are at home downloading it instead of being at the movies.
