Anyone seeing this tonight, let us know if there is anything worth staying for in or after the credits. I'm seeing this in Imax on Saturday and I know the staff tends to shuffle the audience out as fast as they can. In this case, I have a feeling there is nothing worth staying for, but I'd like to be sure. If Patrick Stewart wakes up in a comatose body again, I don't want to miss it.
Word on the street, after the titles roll Comedian wakes up in his coffin.
Ebert loved it.

Wow, he really did like it. Good Job Snyder.
As for the squid, I dunno. It worked in the comic, but if you REALLY think about it...in live-action, it could either be really creepy and disturbing, OR it could end up being stupid and cheesy as fuck. It's one of those things that needs the extensive exposition only a comic could provide.
Still, setting off nukes doesn't sound like the appropriate replacement as far as getting the world to unite againt a single threat. This sounds tricky.
Got my tickets today - seeing it Saturday afternoon on IMAX.
I loaned my gf my copy of Watchmen. She's trying to finish it before the weekend but her workload at school might prevent that. She's excited about seeing the flick, however.
Friday night at the mall, Sunday on IMAX.
Good times.
