Kim Jong Il rules at the barrel of a gun while depriving North Koreans of all basic rights, including the right to own a gun. So how can you fight the world's fourth-largest army without guns? Plus the propaganda campaign in North Korea has been incredibly effective, starting from Kim Il Song's "Juche" ideology of North Korean self-rule which gives North Koreans the idea that they should be in charge of their own destiny.

Essentially, Song Il successfully breeded loyalty in his citizenry and even today this loyalty remains thanks to Juche. But the starvation and military power that Kim holds also keeps the populace in check.

But wait, isn't it the enlightened left that's supposed to know more about the world at large, not the cowboy right? LOL.

Of course, though, if another country, say, the USA, goes in and removes said fuckhead then that's bad, right? It makes the USA worse than the fuckhead in power, huh?

Iraq under Saddam's rule was like Sweden compared to North Korea under Kim Jong Il. The whole country is a train wreck.

I don't remember calling myself enlightened nor calling you a cowboy. I also don't remmber Saddam threating the world with nuclear weapons, or if he did, I don't remember you FINDING any, this man has publicly admitted to them, and your country basically told him to hush up cause you're headed to Iraq right now. If the US went after NK no one in their right mind would have an issue with it because they;re clearly wanting to fuck around. Saddam had what... 3 airfields and a rag tag group of followers?

I was thinking if Saddam just let the US in without fighting, this would've worked against Bush because he'd have to prove that Iraq was holding WMDs. See this way it would have backfired and Bush would have no choice but to pull out and continue with Bin Ladin like he was supposed to.

Why are you talking about Iraq? I didnt mention Iraq. I was talking about North Korea... while also pointing out why your ideas of "if THEY dont like him and THEY dont get rid of him its THEIR problem" are cruel, barbaric, and idiotic to the extreme.

It is exactly that whole "self-rule is always best" viewpoint which allows horrible dictators like Kim Jong Il to remain in charge.

I wouldn't agree with that all the way. If you spoke against the government in either country chances are you'd end up dead. Saddam didn't have as much power as Kim but he still held the same idealogy it maintaining power.
