Does anyone know if this show will ever get a DVD release. In the past few days I've had a strong desire to watch a few eps of it. I really enjoyed the randomness and campy feel the show had.

I haven't heard anything about a DVD release, but the N (the Noggin network's afternoon-night alias) plays reruns, if that helps.Quote:

I LOVED this show back in the day, and as far as I know, there is no official DVD release. I'm sure there are plenty of bootlegs available for it though. Try ebay.
Mr. Tasty!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...184210912&rd=1 - here's an ebay result of a DVD bootleg. There are a few others with this same item.

I went to school with the younger Pete (Danny Tamborelli).
I saw an episode on one of Nick's sub channels a few weeks back. it brought back alot of memories. I would for sure pick up a DVD release of this.
I may get that if it continues to be that cheap. Anyone have any idea how many eps it runs?Quote:

Pretty much every episode was awesome. Every time I find an "Inspected by" sticker in new clothes, I think of Pete and Pete.

I love the King of Road one, the bit with the arm out of the window being a sign of confidence is hilarious. I also like the Johnny Unitis one. Anything with Artie is great, and the mother's metal plate was genius.
I loved the Saturday episode. The busdriver sitting at the light was the best part.
X = Why?
Edit: Am I the only one who thought Luscious Jackson was a completely odd choice for a celebrity appearance?
*reminisces some more*
This show was genius. I demand a real DVD release.
wasn't iggy pop or someone, one of the girls dads?
The Fourth of July Episode is the best representation of a holiday a show has ever shown.
I think the show was the closest to ever come to how being a kid in the US is like. Well, minus a little perversion, and angst, but still, spot on.Quote:

And the N doesn't show it anymore, they'll show a thousand repeats of their lame original series, but no pete and pete.
I think so. He was Nona Mecklenberg's (played by Michelle Trachtenberg aka Buffy's kid sister) dad. I loved this show and the opening theme.Quote:

Does no one own the rights to this show anymore? It is rare to see people be so upfront about bootlegging.
He could be a real douchebag. He seemed really...shady I guess is the word I'm looking for. He could talk nice to you, but when you turned your back he'd talk shit about you. He wasn't in school much either, he'd be at school for like a month and then leave for like 3 months to go shoot. In HS it was the same, but with the show All That.Quote:

The older Pete is punk rock as shit.
Ah showbiz can fuck you up at that age. I have no idea the effects of memorizing lines, never haveing to deal with people not knowing you, or having people lie to you and kiss your ass has on a young mind.Quote:

I am friends with the guy who played Wayne the Pain. He's pretty normal all things considered. The show was filmed in Jersey so their amostly from that area.
Really, what sort of guy is he?Quote:

I remember every moment of this show that's been mentioned so far. I liked this show more than I realized.
