Well graphics overall are poor poor poor. When you have Ninja Gaiden in clean HD 480p on Box and then go back and can't even get O3 in HD, yes there are major differences. The PS2 has reached its max I think and it just isn't good enough. This game looks like ass on a HDTV, which is a shame -- come on Capcom, get that shizz in HD please.Quote:

Until the price drops on HDTVs, they become more accessible, and more games on the whole don't look like crap on it (next gen sys 2 years from now and XBOX), then it's going to be a while before more companies start supporting it. Not only that, but PS2 isn't gonna be the system to support it widely, because almost all of their games' flaws will jump out at you link ninjas in that format :|
Yo Yo Yo!!! I never said I hated the game. Damn folks, it was good (my favorite so far is #2 though). I played the hell out of it and am going through it again. I'm just saying that the world isn't as behind as you think. And there is no freaking reason why PS2 can't run HD games as well, GGXX does it and it looks amazing, so to ask Capcom to do what a much smaller Sammy has already done, is not asking too much.
The game is good. The graphics are no better than they were years ago when they first started doing games like this, sorry, but it's the truth. Fully 3-D backgrounds are nice and all, but the overall graphic work in this game is bland. So yeah, I like the game, but it's time for Capcom and PS2 to step up and give us the full-deal. I mean GC is doing RE4 in HD, Xbox is running HD, so there is no reason that PS2 can't do this as well.
Besides, HDTVs are NOT 1200 bucks, mine when they first came out was only 700...now you can get a widescreen samsung for 600 bucks, so cost is not what you think...
