OutRun 2 Comes Home

I'm going to backpedal on my initial statement about one of the secret cars in Outrun 2 before someone else calls BS on me.

The included attachment is initially why I thought it was in the game. Then when setting up a link game, I noticed that the "Daytona" car was on the list of choosable cars. I initially thought this was the said car (which I was not sure was unlocked via glitch or otherwise, since I got one notice for "special item unlocked" and I can not find the associated card with it.) Upon further review, this is just the 365 GTS/4 Daytona.

Maybe I should have not said anything until I unlocked it. However, it seems like I can not unlock everything on this build (there is at least one unlock card I should have that I do not). Meh, sorry about that. :sweat:

Yoshi: So? Can't a man drive a *********(oh well) on the Daytona tracks? I can understand Ferrari-only in say...Ferrari F355. Look at Outrunners, that one had all kinds of cars to drive.

Yeah gameplay is great but I was never a Ferrari fan in the first place.

Yeah but dude, that's not the point. They could slap another model on it and call it something different and it'd be the same game.

HOT HOT HOT. I played the arcade rev in Chicago at ESPNzone, and now I'm itching for the Xbox version even more. Remixed music? 8-player online play? You had me sold at "OutRun2."

I play at Outrun 2 at the arcades as much as I can (Its an hour away :sweat: )

I can't wait to be able to play on my HDTV at home online ;)

Someone working on the game posts on the GameFAQs board for it, and has revealed some neat little tidbits, well, neat to me, like logos being removed, why they were, etc.
