My interest just put on a fedora, grabbed a briefcase, grew wings, and flew out the window.
I've never read this as being a budget title.Quote:

No, I do remember hearing something of Microsoft publishing it for $20.
Maybe I misread, but definitely not that way. I'm quite anticipating Sega Ages.
With a the crap they put in the home port $40 is fine. If it was a straight port with online added, $40 would be unreasonabe though.
And Outrun 2 has been updated. There's alot more to the control and you don't have to skid all over like a madman any more. And the graphics are excellent by any standard. SamuraiMoogle is blind.
But really I still play the old ones, and I love them alot. This game isn't designed to appeal to people who think the original is old and smelly, it's just something new for the fans, and it's fresh enough for that end.
Graphics are excellent my ass. The game runs really smooth but other than that, blah blah blah! Maybe it looks good if it was a PS2 game but have you even played Burnout 3, RallySport 2, or Project Gotham 2? They piss on OutRun 2 graphically.
Well I've only played the arcade version but it looks better than PGR2 and RS2. Haven't played Burnout 3. The Alpine level is just stunning.Quote:
