OutRun 2 Comes Home

Original courses redone...*drools* PLEASE MAKE IT INTO THE HOME VERSION, as an XbL download, or an unlockable...

for a second when i read Outrun SP i though it was being made for the GBA SP! lol

anyways, Outrun upgrade is cool, but it sucks that it's announced now when the xbox is only getting the original Outrun 2 :(

and no, i dont think the new content would be downloadable, instead Sega would release Outrun SP on the xbox in a year or so!

Well, my GameWorks finally got OutRun 2 for $1.50 a play. That's a little late in the game, but it's still good to see it there. I got an All Clear on the following route with a score of 2.8M:

Stage1->Deep Lake->Coniferous Forest->Industrial Complex->Metropolis (B)

As for OutRun 2 SP, I don't think Sega should charge full game price again for a home port. Let's not see another Street Fighter II CE in that regard- imagine if Sega later on brought out Hyper OutRun 2 and charged another $40-50.

One Jackson for the upgrade whenever a home version comes out would be fine, just like VF4EVO's US release.

Well VF4: Evolution was only $20 when they brought that out, so there's hope.

Played the demo today, but it only lets you play normal mode, and you can only go the easy path, and there are (as far as I can tell) only the first 3 levels.

But, it's an Xbox Live enabled demo, so that's gotta count for something.

The outrun 2 demo rocks. I am buying this game for sure. Looks and plays way better than Burnout 3.

Korly, is the demo an in-store thing, or is it in OXM?

Good question. I downloaded it, and as such, can not try out the online portion.

Anyone know where to get it?
