God told us not to get hung up on rituals and religion. All he wants is a decent relationship with humanity. Not for everyone to get involved in superfluous things. Church and religion is a supplement to our relationship with God. Put the cart before the horse and bad things happen.

I just watched the beheading video, the cold hard anger that something like that inspires in me makes me wish I was already there. I definately wouldn't mind killing those mother fuckers.

Terrorists such as Al-Qaeda are blasphemous murderers, and Muslims should be angry at Al-Qaeda for tarnishing their reputation. "Thou shalt not kill" and "Don't seek an eye for an eye" are universal. Using God to justify killing civilians is one of the worst things fathomable.

The terrorists were definitely the bigger monsters. The Iraqi POWs are still alive, yet these cold bastards KILLED a man in retaliation and say they will kill more.

If a group of Catholics turned terrorist, the Vatican would be excommunicating them in an instant. I think it is of extreme importance for the Muslim faith to do all it can to distance itself from the killers- clerics should denounce Al-Qaeda in their sermons.

I have no desire to watch the beheading video. Just reading about what went down in the paper was sickening enough.

They are not going to, though. All of the times clerics have denounced the killings it has been half-assed. I think it's time we SERIOUSLY look at the Koran and the religion, both back in its inception and now, and see if it really lives up to the politically-correct "religion of peace" that so many people say it does.

Very well-worded. I fully agree. Muslim leaders should be defaming these jerks in sermons, preaching about love and peace and everything.

Gohron summed up my initial reaction to the viewing of the video pretty well, too. For some reason, seeing something happen to an individual is much more angering for me. I got more angry watching that video than I got thinking about the execution of Timothy MacVeigh, and that's something.
