I can't believe the igorance in this thread.

First of all, anyone that has studied the koran will know that there is only one justification of violence like this. If you try to get rid of the muslim religion, you will truly invoke jihad in its main context.

What you see are mainly just fanatics, have people ever heard of the Spanish inquisition? That is a 100x worse than this stuff. And that was from a Christian religion. People who do this however do not truly follow the religion which they associate themself with. Most people who associate themselves with a religion do not truly follow it either.

The amount of resistance to American occupation of Iraq has to do with the attempt to change the government structure without and real pre-planning whatsover. It was only a few months ago that we appointed the people in the government. Secondly the obvious change in attitude was because of this, a country that was initially thrilled with the Americans getting rid of Saddam now are doing every thing in their power to get rid of them.

And how on earth is retaliation to extremists in the same way that they treat us going to reduce their number? If anything it is going to increase their number.

The civilians fought a guerilla war against the occupying nazis and had terrorist networks that killed German Civilians en masse, attacked Military targets for years then started to behead German Civilians while making a rambling religious statement and that's what started the German Idea of Genocide and not simply demonizing a populace and uniting their country behind the idea of scapegoating and racial superiority?

Let's admit that there are people on this earth that want to kill each and every American citizen, and that these people are never going to be satisified with anything that we do.

Granted, perhaps exterminating every muslim is a tad harsh, I'll settle for starting with muslim fundamentalists that do bullshit animalistic tactics on us, and we then subsequently turn them, and about 100 yards in a circular pattern around them into glass. Whatever country they hide in, where ever they are, that country can either turn them over to us or read about the bombs we drop in the newspaper the following day.

That video was quite disturbing to me to see, and I do know that not every single muslim on the face of the earth backs or can even understand the action. So, I'll say that I'm for the extermination of fundamentalist terrorist muslims at this point in time only.
