I want my 30 seconds back.
I like how the two ad images flow together.
I just dropped by IGN for the normal headline news tonight and I hate the new lay out. It's butt ugly and confussing, in my opinion. Maybe I'll get use to it with time...
Yeah, so do I. I thought that was pretty neat.Quote:

I'm glad they're trying a redesign, but what they have right now is basically an atrocity. It's completely broken in a variety of web browsers, and they're trying to cram way too much information and too many links into one page.
Glad you guys like it--we're getting a bunch of shit mails and about as many praises in the office regarding the new look.
Very glad to see that you're not all retarded cry babies about a bigger ad. The content section is bigger, too.
As far as it being broken in browsers other than MSIE, it's being worked on of course. It's already almost 100% is Mozilla-based browsers (haven't tried Safari or others, but I think it's the same). And yeah, it is a lot of information on the page, but in all honesty it always was. I think it's better organized now than before. While it's no doubt a shock, I think that once we all get more used to where we need to look to find our info we'll dig it. We'll see.
There are a lot of cool features that'll be implemented...after E3.
So after E3 is when you break out the Nuon ads? Excellent! :)
I'm not used to it yet, personally. The split down the middle between news, which is what I'm looking for, and media, which I honestly don't care about, threw me for a bit while I sorted out which bits went where. I think I'll have an easier time with it after E3, when it's not all Pre-E3 all over the place.
This time of year is possibly my least-favorite time for gaming sites, barring post-Christmas when everyone goes away. I can never keep track of what's news and what's just another iteration of the pre-E3 hype machine.

Well we label everything that's pre-E3 as..."Pre E3"
Should be easy enough. And personally, I use Insider almost exclusively for media downloads so I think it's cool to see what new media is up. Plus, it'll keep "news" posts that are nothing but images out of the news section. I dig it.
I love the "new" look of IGN, very clean layout, easier to use the site.
