Interference on my TV
I'm getting what looks like interference on my TV now when I use my systems. I just moved and when I hooked up all my stuff I get this wavy line crap. Its not horrible but it is noticeable. My setup is: xbox,dvd,ps2,cube hooked up to a switchbox. That stuff with a tv and stereo hooked up to one powerstrip. I had the same exact setup before with no problems. I bought a power strip that has some kind of filter in it but it doesnt help. I live in a apartment if that helps.
Any solutions?

i have the same problem but it might be my tv which is only a year old :(

Its not my tv, because I tried a different one in another room. I'm thinking interference of some kind.

I know this sounds stupid, but i have had the same problem. For some reason if you pull the plug from your wall antenna socket a little bit, it seems to work perfectly.
Well it worked for me anyway.

Try replacing your coax wire.

Do you have cable?
If so try disconnecting it and see if it goes away. 90% of this crap is from improperly grounded cable installations.
If it IS the cable, you have 3 options, 1) Call the cable co and bitch. 2) get a 75>300 ohm adapter and a 300 to 75 ohm adapter, connect the two together, and install inline with the cable coax, this will act as an isolation transformer. 3) Get satelite TV.
3rd option is best..

Its NOT the cable because I was having this problem before I got cable installed.

Please, someone for the love of god give me a solution. These lines are really pissing me off. I dont get any lines during normal tv watching. Only when I'm using a game system. The lines happen in 2 different rooms on 2 different tvs with 2 different xbox's. WTF!??

Try hooking your consoles in a different outlet and on a different circuit if possible as it may be interference from that.
Also, what I do to prevent problems like this is to run my AV cables away from my power.
All AV get bundled and twist tied together and the same with the power cables... then get them as far apart as possible.
