I like to use the d+1, 2 as chicken bait. Like, if I'm playing against someone who knows how to reverse, I throw that out a bunch of times to try and get him to reverse it and then BAM, CHICKEN!!! If you chicken someone like, twice, they usually crumble and then refuse to try to reverse any more. Then you can set them up for the good shit.
Paul's only "bread and butter" string in Tekken 4 is 1,2. Unless you can do d+4,2,1_1+2 just frames very consistently. I don't think the term bread and butter applies to Tekken as much as it does the Street Fighter series. Although I could see using the term to refer to some standard, fairly simple juggles.
There is no Tekken 4.

Juggling system is going back to how it was in Tekken Tag
The low parry is being adjusted (hopefully this means no more universal parry!)
Lots of new arts are being added, especially for some particular characters
The wall system is being changed to be more fun
Well... we'd hate to judge the game before having a chance of playing it but if all this is true Tekken 5 is shaping up very nicely indeed.
That night shot with Kazuya fighting against the moon with the castle ruins in the background is sweet.
