Tekken 5

This game might actually make me get back into Tekken (seriously).

Not pleased with the PS2 exclusivity. I would have gladly given Namco money if it had Live play.

cmon, you fuckers ACTUALLY thoght namco was gonna port their SONY EXCLUSIVE(since the dawn of the playstation) title on any other systems?

they pulled the same shit back on dreamcast with the whole "if soul cal sells well enough we'll do tekken" then pulled out and stayed with sony. of COURSE soul cal is going to get a wider release, it's never been as popular as tekken has.

it's tekken. it's on a sony system. period.

(however, i'll be the first in line to get an xbox version if it comes out)

I've loved the Tekken series since day one, and I'll definitely be getting this at some point. I'm sure Namco has some non-Sony plans for Tekken (not counting Tekken Advance), I'd love to see an Xbox/Xbox 2 collection of the Tekken games over Live.

Nah, never believed that.

My problem is that this will be out in 2005, about 6 months post DOAU and will not have Online Play. I'm all for Tekken, but no online play is just shit.

That doesn't solve anything, what he needs are a lot of friends that want to play Tekken. I have plenty of friends, and do you know how many want to play Tekken? None. One of them will play Tekken just because it's there, but there are other fighting games we'd rather put the effort into.

"Why do you need online when you have friends!"

Because, I don't want to drive to hang out with them, prefer to play games and smoke and don't have to tell them to 'get the fuck out' when they've passed my limit.

Everything else looks okay.I am a much bigger SC fan than a Tekken fan but if it plays and feels half as good as SC than i will be hooked.but no Online play is a smack in the face to people who have non gameing friends.
Namco sucks for that little bit.
