The latest time release I've heard has Mokujin instead of Combot. If Devil Jin is released, I'm afraid this may be it as far as time released characters- unless Namco actually made Jinpachi playable. Even though his boss incarnation is borderline cheap, toning him down would be easy. It wouldn't be a shock considering you could use True Ogre in Tekken 3.

According to IGN.com, some Japanese retailers say Tekken 5 for PS2 will also include a full-on port of the original Tekken. If this is so then it's nice for nostalgia's sake in a similar way to VF 10th Anniversary in VF4 Evolution- but a System 12-perfect port of Tekken 3 would a be nicer extra.

So, something occured to me.

Over my 4 different T5 cards, I have about 270 losses. That means that at 50 cents a game, I've spent at least 135 dollars. Also, a good 50 losses came when I first started playing, and back then it cost 1 dollar to play! On top of that each of my 4 T5 cards cost 5 bucks.



I can't play anymore.

One thing I sort of miss is the 8-way movement found in Tekken 4. It looks like Namco figured the TK3 sidestep method is better, but I do not agree.

A "Just Ghosts" mode where you could fight only other players' ghosts would've been welcome as well. On the home version, here's hoping Namco gets some Japanese players' ghosts copied over (ala VF4 Evolution) for you to fight in the Time Attack.

There's only 4 way movement in Tekken 4, unless you know the game genie codes.
