Well that's about what the rereleased Game Gear units go for, Toys-R-Us has a decent selection as does sega-parts.

GG PDM kinda looks like GG Space Harrier with transplanted graphics, if you'd ask me.
$30 for a new Game Gear is regular price...but I don't know where you could get one cheaper from. Games are easy to find on ebay, although you run into the problem where the game only costs $5 but it costs another $5 to ship
www.sega-parts.com has lots of stuff for it, they are pricey but it's all new games/equipment.
I just got my gear out of storage, I'm trying to hunt down lots of games for it myself... not to mention another gamegear :)
Words can't explain how much I abhor Panzer Dragoon Mini. The fun factor in that game is equivalent to a Tiger version of Superman 64.
Yeah, Panzer Dragoon Mini does suck.
But make sure to get the two Shinobi games.
I bought a Game Gear at our local Ames (a smaller version of K-Mart), and I got Ax Battler and GG Aleste II from ebay. Ax Battler is unfeasably hard, and it's translation is downright hilarious. It's still a pretty decent game, though. GG Aleste II is a great little shmup, too bad the GG's screen adds a translucent white glow to everything, not to mention tons of blurring. I don't play my GG much at all, but I'm glad I have one. It's something to add to the ol' collection. =P
Only $69.99 for PDM? Wow, thats quite cheap coming from Adol from what I've seen.

The Toys R Us near me has a bunch of Game gear games in its Bargain bin that are priced from $4-$10. Make sure to pick up Sonic 2 and Chuck Rock if you can
