Conker: Live and Reloaded

hm. maybe i need to play past the demo, but i was very underwhelmed by GbtG. actually i liked some of the things about it, some of the ideas, and audio stuff, but i had no fun actually playing the demo.

but that still didnt make me ever doubt Rare's prowess. i know they have it in them. just because they got bought by a major publisher for a ridiculous amount of money and havent proven thier worth yet means nothing to me.

they have made some of the coolest games ever, and im looking forward to what they are going to be coming out with in the next few years. im sure there will be some classics.

the original Conker kicked all kinds of ass, and this remake is looking good. hopefully soon, they will be pulling out the big guns.

Rare should really stop with the copy nintendo games and sequel mentality. Their best games are always their original works and not their nintendo clones or sequels.

Rare only ported Marble Madness and Wizards and Warriors to the NES. They didn't actualy develop them.

Heck yeah. Blast Corps was one of my favorite games on N64. I also don't understand all the backlash that the DKC series got. The second one is a great game.

Conker remade on the Xbox is possibly one of the greatest things that will happen to me in the March of 2005. The multiplayer looks godlike, and the fact that I can play against bots whenever I like is fucking killer. I can't wait to see some of my favorite scenes from the single-player again, like Rock Solid and the Reaper.

This game, instant 10.

So this is coming out later this month. Anyone else plan on picking it up. I went ahead and pre-ordered it for the free demo. It's nothing special, but I figured why the hell not.

One thing I want to know, is if it will include all the old multiplayer games along with the new Live mode. Some of the older multi modes were freakin sweet.

Funny, I was just looking in this thread to find out the same thing.... It seems unlikely though since they never mention it in anything I've read... a shame really.

This game always looked great to me, but I've been having a hard time looking for good footage of the gameplay. Is the XBL bit looking promising? If it has good gameplay with little lag, it might just be my new H2 like addiction.

Everyone mentions they hope a game has "little lag" but I haven't had any lag issues for any Xbox Live game except Top Spin. Maybe I've just been lucky.
