Sadly, I was stuck working the booths, so I didn't have much time to look at the rest of the floor today. What are the top 3 most mind blowing things you would recommend me checking out tomorrow?

didn't play much shit today, but Resident Evil 4 is fuckin awesome. blew me away, and i can completely care less for the genre. although the game is really fuckin different from previous games in the series. it conrols a hell of a lot better (although the aimin is a bit off), and really, the game controls so much better, that it really does change the feel of the game drastically. it's Resident Evil in every way possible, aside from the way the game plays.
Well, Check out MGS Snake Eater and RE4.
Best stuff at the show so far.
Considering RE may quite possibly have the worst controls of any game ever, that's not saying much. But at least it gives me a little hope.Quote:

yes, the controls are similar, but the new camera and gameplay style make it work this time.
Phantom Crash 2050.
Things I played today that rocked...
Musashi Samurai Legend
Final Fantasy XII
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
Full Metal Alchemist
Gradius V
Ratchet and Clank: Up your Arsenal
Jak 3
Doom 3
Conkers
Mech Assault 2
MGS 3 Snake Eater
Burnout 3
RE 4 (didn't play it, but watched it... hot damn)
Suikoden IV
Vietiful Joe 2
Paper Mario 2
Pikmin 2
Metroid Prime 2: Echos
That's all I can think up now. It was a great day. Can't wait for tomorrow.
I wish I could go to this show. Sounds awesome.
Stuff most people prob won't mention...
Neo Contra was suprisingly good. I was intitially totally turned off by the change but after playing it I had alot of fun. It's not Contra, but it's good for what it is(Action game).
Virtua Fighter Quest was pretty good too. Seemed to be a pretty solid beat em up with some good air combo potential.
PS2 3rd Strike was pretty good. Hard to tell if it was better than the DC version visiually. On one display screen it was pretty sharp but the other was muddy. Felt smoother than DC to some degree(Gameplay, move transition, etc..).
New Mk was ok. Felt and looked alot like a better version of Deadly Alliance. I didn't play it long since the guy playing me thought he'd just murder me while I tried to figure out how to do anything with Baraka. Camera seemed pretty zoomed up on the chars making them appear very large(Think Eternal Champions of Genesis compared to SfF big).
Midway Arcade Treasures vol.2 had Mk1 playable only. Arcade perfect, even better with a stick.
Blah blah blah, gotta go.
Pac Pix!
Oh yeah, and a lot of the shit from DS and PSP are pretty cool. Definetly go to the Capcom booth soon.
Today was the greatest day of my life.Quote:
