English under attack

Having worked at a gas station and dealing with landscapers, I don't know where all this frustration comes from. The only Spanish I know comes from television, music, or friends but I have zero trouble communicating with people who either don't know the language or barely know it. You effing morons just need to listen a little closer.

That being said, learn a smidgeon of English, folks.

my problem is whenever i'm at work, and someone who can't speak english very well and I have a hard time understanding each other, and they look at ME (ME GODAMIT!) like i'm the one with the problem. As if not speaking Spanish makes me a fucking moron, no this is the United States, sprechen the English please.

I dont have anything against people who can't speak English, nothing really- but when they look at me like its my fault - thats when I'm tempted to slap the fucking shit out of their face.

I went to italy back in hmmm 2001 it was my graduation present for graduating college

Italy fucking rocked

we were there for hmmmmm 2 maybe 3 weeks I think and I loved every minute of it

If I lived anywhere outside the US it would be Italy ideally Rome

I would have typed this out in italian BUT if you think my spelling in english is bad you dont want to see my italian, bassicaly i can understand it when i hear it spoken and can say enough to get by but spelling it and writing it out forget it

Everyone in Italy was just friendly as hell, just very welcoming and friendly, we also spent 3 days in paris and it was the exact opposite

I have never felt as Unwanted in a place as when I was in Paris

and yes everything you said about Mzo's mother is true

the language of the founding fathers of the country was english, thats enough to make English the native language of our country (not of the land, the land belonged to the native americans)

I would never want to live in Rome. It's a great place to visit, but it would suck to live there.

Florence is another matter though.
