See, they're integrating into English society with their sense of entitlement. Soon we'll see a day when the Spanish majority is complaining about Asian or African immigrants, or European, the irony would be delicious.

Do you mean Spanish Speaking? Cause there aint a lot of Spaniards in California.
I doubt this is 'their sense of entitlement', since Mexico does not give citizenship to law breakers who fuck and then drop papoose there. This is called taking advantage of a situation.
They will start complaining when they pay a lot of taxes and wind up footing the bill for people who break the law.
you adapt to where you move to
you dont force where you moved to to change to you
I agree with you 100%. That's what I'm saying. Americans want people to speak English when in the U.S. but refuse to speak anything but English when they're abroad. It has to go both ways. English is the defacto official language of the U.S. so people need to speak it when they're in the country. The same goes for every other country with its native tongue.Quote:

What's funny is that there are almost as many people in Canada who speak some other language as their native tongue as there are those who speak English (Source).Quote:

Hispanics make up 13% of the U.S. population and will soon eclipse African Americans as the nation's largest minority (that sounds weird).Quote:

They wouldn't be exploited so much if they would actually attempt to understand the language, which would no doubt result in better earnings since they could actually understand what minimum wage is and get their employers to at least pony up that much. Don't treat exploitation as a positive for the country... it may increase companies' bottom lines for the short term, but it has far many more negative repercussions down the line.Quote:

It was meant to be directed at those who make no effort to adapt, not a broad generalization towards the population as a whole. From my personal perception of my surrounding environment, though, the former does seems to make up a commanding number...Quote:

It's passive invasion, and it shouldn't be accepted. Not saying we should go out to the border and start shooting folks or anything, but letting illegals in without repercussions is a slap in the face to anyone who abides by the law, especially those immigrants who do make an effort to enter lawfully.Quote:
So you're saying that if Hispanics had come with guns and conquered the country things would be cool?
Not by them passively (non)integrating into the established majority. If we would have come in and just started taking up camps on Native lands, they wouldn't have taken that crap, and they didn't take it in most instances. Yes, fighting and driving them out wasn't a fantastic alternative, but transfer of power is, and should always, be decided through action, not lack of action. And by that I don't mean fighting, though that is certainly one possible method; it's through communication of each side's feelings on the matter, trying to come to an understanding. Our hands are tied on this one, though, because of too much sensitivity and the large force of what I thought the article excellently dubbed "professional victims". We can't even talk about it, which in the long run only makes things more tense and volatile.Quote:
You do realize that the U.S. was founded by and became what it is because of immigrants, don't you?
Actually, I really don't know. Even if an overwhelming majority are, however, it doesn't make the people that aren't right by association. There are simply too many to state it's not a big problem, and if the situation isn't addressed, it will only grow. You can't just say "most are legal" and leave the issue alone.Quote:
How many Hispanics in this country are legal, law-abiding, tax paying U.S. citizens compared to those who aren't?
There's also no logic in coming into a country, illegally in some cases, and putting forth zero effort to adapt, then acting entitled to equal treatment. That's who the post was related to and describing. Sorry if it sounded otherwise.Quote:
Calling them an "infestation" is unacceptable. There's no logic to your post at all.
Well...
At least they need to learn english to play RPGs.
So suck on that immigrants!
I agree with every single word of this article.Quote:

Anyway, we looked up authorized HP service centers on their site and your store was the closest one.
*EDIT* Shit, someone from your store just called her and told her that HP said the scanner was "unfixable". Oh, well.
That's not nice, you should always respect people's mothers. I respect yours, she's one of my best producers.Quote:

Thats a future sig if I ever heard one. I can imagine all of the people that come over into the land of oppurtunity and then realize that they cant play RPGs. They go home that afternoon, crying.Quote:
