Spider-Man 3: Official

Talk about preparing in advance, Activision has announced plans to publish and develop <b>Spider-Man 3</b> which is scheduled to hit theatres in 2007. The announcement also confirmed that Tobey McGuire and Kirsten Dunst will reprise their roles as Spider-Man and Mary Jane respectively with Sam Raimi set to direct the next film.

No gameplay details have been released, but if the upcoming sequel is any indication, fans should expect a thrilling action-packed experience.

On a related note, <b>Spider-man 2</b> will be released in theatres June 30, joined by the second videogame installment, produced and published by Activision on the same day.

Me. I've been playing the PC version (omg hax) and I'm picking up the 360 version tonight. (Supposedly)

There are QTE's and all of the good things from the 2nd game, so it warrants a purchase from me.

Also, if you're not looking at Spiderman, or anybody with a mask, the faces look FUGLY.

Oh snaps. I want to buy this now but I also don't want to do plot points before seeing the movie. Not that I should be worried, I can't ever find games ahead of release dates around here even when it seems like everyone else can.

The PC version is kind of a mixed bag. It's awesome because it has default configurations for the 360 pad, but it must be build pretty bad. I have 3 gigs of Ram, a 7900gt and a dual core @ 2.14 and I still have to turn shit down.

I want to get the 360 version (achievements, etc) but I hear the PS3 has more, eg exclusive content. Downloadable in the future maybe?

PS3 = Play as Goblin after the game is over.

Yea, it runs like shit on my pc (dual core cpu @ 1.83ghz, 2 gigs ram, 512mb ati x1800xt) with all settings maxed out @ 1280x720 res. Funny thing is that turning down stuff like city or surface detail really doesn't add much fps at all and instead just makes the game look like crap. The game itself seems decent and the city looks very nice but it looks like they just dropped the 360 version on the pc and didn't optimize a damn thing (typical really). I guess I'll just get the 360 version for all the achievements and stuff for cheap.

Yeah, exactly. I turned down the settings and it still ran like ass. Oh well.
