Wouldn't it be possible to somehow make vehicles and devices that rely off the earths inner core energy?
That way we would never run out.... just something I've been thinking about.
LOL. Nice.
We could travel in tubes! Someone get working on the tube technology, chop chop.
OR, we could do a lot of things the old way. Man got along before oil, and we could go back to that while keeping many of the pluses if we just used both in moderation. Like a lot less driving, more bikes, motorcycles, horses and walking, but keep on putting oil into agriculture and medicine. There are a lot things that can be done, if the populous could do with out wasteful trivialities.
Well, cities have been designed with cars in mind for about 80 years so that's not an option. Live in Los Angeles for a week and tell me how fun it is to get around without a car (hint: I lived there for 2 years without one and it sucks ass).Quote:

Well, start the revolution and get rid of your car, IronPlant.
This way we would have no more pollution, no more car exhaust, or ocean dumpage.Quote:

I didn't imply it was that simple. But the oil industry has a ton of influence in our government and alternate energy sources are a threat to it.Quote:
