Just thinking the other night what were some wierd pack-ins that were included with Domestic games? I know the Working Designs usually has extras but I am thinking more of games that usually might not.
Example:
SNES Ilusion Of Gaia had a T-shirt included as a gift.
PSX Rayman 2 had a Watch and another had a Beach Ball.
Anyone know if any of those extras are rare or collectible?

Sonic Jam came out with a badly-drawn trading card that told kids that "fighting is not cool". Of course, Knuckles beats up his enemies by throwing punches, so it's a very hypocritical message.
Keith Courage in the Alpha Zones (TG-16/PC-Engine) had a really shitty Comic that came with it, they tried to make the story line "Cool" and "Intresting", but the fact that its not "Cool" or "Intresting" and the game is crap does not help.
Earthbound (SNES) came in a very large box with the Strategy Guide.
Blaster Master: Blasting Again (PSOne) The recent sequal came with a Phone Card.
Star Fox 64 (Nintendo 64) at first had the Rumble Pack bundled with it.
I can't think of anything else really, a lot of SNES and Genesis games used to come with promotional posters and stuff, wish publishers would still do that today.
I can't think of too many domestic ones, but this was one of the weirdest ones I know:
Landstalker (Genesis) - Fruit Rollup
along with the ones already mentioned, if they count, lunar 1&2 and arc the lad came with a bunch of stuff.
also, landstalker came packed with fruit rollup.
"Captain America and the Avengers" for Genesis came with a dorky Captain America pin. :p
Landstalker came paqckaged with Fruit Roll-Ups.
I didn't want to eat them, but was excited to see Sega characters die cut into gummy-fruit-flavored-fructose slabs.
Wouldn't you guess it, just a plain ol' regular roll of lunch snak chew.

Anyway, Kunio no Oden came out with a mini-disc that featured a vocal version of the game's ending theme (Lover to Friend).
The Famicom version of Double Dragon 3 had a manga as an instruction book. So did Double Dragon V, but who cares.
Metal Gear for the NES came out with a set of maps.
So did Final Fantasy III for the SNES. Actually several RPGs came out with maps, so it's a moot point.
Several of Konami's Famicom games came out with special collector's cards including Metal Gear and Dracula II. They were random, since I seen at least four different Metal Gear cards.

Maniac Mansion came out with some sort help card (which I don't have unfortunately).
Didn't the NES versions Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy came out with hint guides.
Does this include things that you got if you pre-ordered the game beforehand or just things that came with the game itself?
I remember that Maximum Carnage came with trading cards and a cassette single of the game's theme somg, sung by (bleah) Green Jelly.

The shitty Contra: Legacy of War came with 3D glasses, 'cause the game had a crummy 3D mode...
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy for the Commodore 64 came with a TON of cool stuff..I had never seen anything like it back then. They were mostly gag things...Vogan poetry reading classes, a bag of fluff, a DON'T PANIC button, a bag with a microscopic invasion fleet (just the thing for attacking microscopic civilizations), and various other goodies. A very cool package.
when i got the original Star Fox at a local Babbages i got a Starfox sippy with it.
