Who the F**k where you ?

I don't know if this has been done, but i want to know who used to be who, before they changed their names......

I'm sure alot of other people are confused and may think certain people are 'n00bs' and get confused with there post count and date of joining.. I know i have a couple times... All the people i have come to know and recognize on the boards back from the great GameGO! flood have changed there names, and usually dont tell anyone.. So if you have changed your name, post it. Who you were and who you are, and maybe why you changed it!

you could always just not be lazy and go check the name change thread.

First, I was JaytheGamefan (on the GO! boards), then I went by that on TNL, then I changed that to Jay at some point, I did something to my account that allowed me to log in, but not post, so I made a "Jeremy" name, which caused "Jay" to die, and I shall soon be affectionatly known as Your Daddy.

There are more errors in the thread title than there aren't.

A couple weeks ago, I noticed that Calliander didn't disappear, but lived through Mike, go figure, changing names sucks.

"who the fuck where you?" what does that mean? btw people who change their names have the AIDS because they are gay. especially people who do it more than once.

Ok ok, we took enough shots on his mispelling issues, now if the mods could change the title, we could get on with the discusssion.

Really, what's with all the name changes? To the people who do change their names, it would be nice if you left your av the same before you changed your name for a while so we realize the change, that or notify us in your sigs. It's not that big a deal, but I get puzzled when I see a newbie but realize he has 1000 posts. :wtf:

I was Xeno Gigas but since I haven't been called Gigas in ages I decided to just go by Xeno G. Although I really doubt that confused anyone.

i've always been stormy. I thought about changing it because i don't really want to be named after a cartoon character anymore, but that's what i'm known by and i'd rather be consistent.

I switched my AIM name after 3 years or so, I just let everybody know I switched it and I didn't have to deal with giving my gay AIM name out to new people anymore.

The name changes confuse me too, I can usually figure out some of them but others I can't remember sometimes... too bad there isn't a user name history for a user, something like eBay has where you can see all the names a certain user has had before... certainly not as necesssary here though but would be a nice thing for us confused individuals ;)

It would be cool if there was a skin for this forum that displayed everybody with their original name.

Because I started checking it out and a lot of members were not quoted which makes it hard to tell who they really was before, if a lot of names surface here I'll make it happen and start keeping an eye on the thread itself to update whenever someone changes their name.

sunshine was so pure you couldn't eat it for breakfast. And why wouldn't people abuse it? If you tire of your name then you change it, it's a pretty simple concept.

I actually changed my name because I was tired of Stone calling me Mike when my username was Calliander. Now I like it more than Calliander. One syllable rules.

Andrew, ditching "sunshine" was the best thing you've ever done. That and bringing back the avatar with Frye. Good choices.
