well, but its the technology that allows the humans to be more effective. Ideally we could have a army that has few actual humans at risk, with fully mechanical units.
funny thing is, this site's title may describe my opinions pretty well ;)Quote:

 So much for that Kerry/T ticket…
Originally, I was a Howard “Monster Truck Rally” Dean fan, and even liked what Dennis “Coo-Coo” Kucinich had to say sometimes, but now that Kerry’s had some work done on his public speaking and hair and make up, I think I’m going to back old “Frankenstein” 100%. Besides, since the beginning blink-182 has backed him on their website (if you can judge that as a good endorsement).
:wtf: Also, I’m really surprised Satsuki and Mzo didn’t get more votes around here?
Unless Kerry actually brings something new to the table by November, Nader gets my vote.
I watched Real Time with Bill Mahr last night (it was a great ep.) and he had Michael Moore on and at the end, Ralph Nader came out. The main reason he had him on, however, was to convince him NOT TO RUN THIS YEAR! He and Michael Moore got on their knees and begged him not to run. Of course, Nader ignored them.
While I thought it was funny, I agreed with them. Nader's presense in this election will be nada. He will only take away votes from either side. This election is too important for us to vote for someone who will have no chance in hell to win. Last time was fine, this time the stakes are too high. If there were more third party candidates in higher government offices, then things might be different. But until that happens there is no way that any third party will be taken seriously as a presidential nominee.
I say all this, and I like Ralph Nader.
EDIT: I personally can't wait for the debates. That will cement my position as for who should run this country. I will say, however, that John Kerry will have to practically say that he's planning on running this country into the ground in order for me to give my vote to Bush.
