Been playing CT PS version(FF chronicles) lately, and when i set the battle system at "wait", i still get attacked contantly when in a battle.
the menu says the "wait" battle system allow you to take your time when fighting. so what gives? why am i being attacked as if the game is set to "Active"?
i think it means that they won't attack if you're in a sub-menu. looking for items, choosing spells, etc.
What he said, I think. Even if enemies attack, their ATB meters won't increment in a submenu, and neither will yours. If you need to slow things down further just knock the game speed down a few notches.
bah, this is driving me mad, i switched to playing Zelda: Majora's Mask instead....but even that has it's issues.....saving and all. i guess i could live with that! ;0
Dude, Chrono Trigger is not a hard RPG, don't sweat it. It's well worth playing, put down that Majora's Mask!
I think the main problem is that you're not playing the SNES version. :)
