also if looking for a "modded" cart try to find a "5" in 1. the extra number means its compatable with those games as well.
I can appreciate the humor in this... kind of, as much as a robotic shooter fan can, but II still stomps all over the first.Quote:

Now, the 4-in-1:
You can get one almost anywhere. Most online stores carry it (ncsx, lik-sang) and its definitely findable on Ebay. And yes, it plays imports and does so very nicely, though it does tend to fuck up your cartridge slot to the point where it will only recognize the 4-in-1. But unless you plan on getting your system modded down the line... I wouldnt worry about it.
The typical going price of DoDonPachi for the Saturn is in the 40-55$ range. I imagine you can find it on Ebay fairly easy.
Good verts that aren't Radiant Silvergun or Soukyugurentai:
Batsugun (60-80$)
Game Tengoku aka The Game Paradise (40-55$)
Blast Wind (40-60$... if you can find it)
Strikers 1945 (20-40$)
Strikers 1945 II (25-45$)
Kingdom Grandprix (30-50$)
Battle Garegga (60-80$)
Twinkle Star Sprites (60-80$)
Galactic Attack (10-20$)
Gunbird (20-40$)
Sonic Wings Special (35-50$)
Kyukyoku Tiger 2 Plus (20-35$)
Shienryu (20-35$)
Guardian Force (20-30$)
And that should about cover ya.
jp, thanks, that's a sick list.
Mzo - I already own the PSX version of Strikers, is the Saturn version any different?
the PS Strikers 1945 is actually 1945 2
Aside from maybe Powerslave, I would avoid the Saturn versions of all of these and just play the PC games, except in Alien Trilogy's case where the PS1 version is the best. Duke Nukem 3D is surprisingly good for the hardware though and beats out the PS1 and N64 versions.Quote:

Excellent link, Korian! I might purchase a Saturn game from this site soon.
Saturn's great for Japanese fighters...
Samurai Shodown 3 & 4 are essential!
