Lets say your dating this girl, whom you love, and loves you.. and you have been together almost a year, both have graduated and are in university, and then one June day she asks " My friend from highschool asked me to go to prom with him, i said yes already.. Is it ok with you that i go ?"

If you know she loves you, and you're confident it's only a friend, then I'd let her go.

ANYWAY, as a serious reply, it's obvious that the "friend" who asked her out wants to fuck her. Seriously, most guys aren't friends with girls they wouldn't fuck, and this is an attempt to spend time with her alone without anybody else around.
Have you ever seen them together? If you think he has no chance of getting her, then let them go. Doesn't really matter in the end.

At nineteen it is almost impossible to know what love is. There are more fish in the sea. He'll screw her and she'll either lie or tell you the truth and break up with you. It's over already. Give it up and move on, it doesn't suck that much.
Prom = Waste of money, whether or not you get laid.
There is only one unlikely possible chance you have here. Say no, and be really pissed off while you are at it. And hope it makes you look "romantic".

I originally said 'no' and gave some reasons, but i didnt want to stick with 'no' cause your right, it makes me look like an ass, so i said she could go.... but i don't feel right...
I suppose it's rare, but some straight guys actually don't have any interest in pursuing screwing a girl. If I were the girl, I'd probably be pissed if some guy were bitchy about me not going anyway.
Let her know it bugs you. Guilt can go a long way to keep one out of trouble.
It is beyond extremely rare that a straight guy has NO interest in screwing a female friend. However, that doesnt mean that it was neccesarily the kids intentions for asking her.

If it's not even her prom, I don't understand the attraction for her to go. My girlfriend would certainly never do something with a romantic edge alone with some other male, and that's not even with my voicing my opinion. It's just understood. Same with myself.
So, if she can't explain why she would go to a romantic funtion with someone else rather than spend an evening with her boyfriend who she loves, then that's a pretty big signal right there.

Exactly. That was the point I was going for exactly Shidoshi. Almost all guys would fuck their female friends. That doesnt mean that they only hang around them hoping to get some. Friendship could be a more attractive situation then the other so you keep on with that.
You know, she wouldn't be acting all uppity and going to proms and shit if you were beating her regularly.

well it has happened.. She went.. Turns out she had a horrable time..
She had fun at first but then all the couples and slow songs and dancing just made her want to be with me, but she couldnt cause she went with 'the guy' so she said she was very upset, and she got home around 11 30 pm and talked to me..
It was no big deal.. it was bad for her, but re-assured me hhahahaha :D thanks for the opinions guys and girls
