Dating a woman who has had an interest in video games has never never been a plus or a negative in any of my relationships. It's just been sorta "there". Video games don't factor into who I see because it's not what I look for. What I look for is pretty standard-
Be intelligent.
Be cute.
Be interesting.
Be confident/Independent.
The last one, is possibly the most important one.

All I can say is it depends on the girl. I am a girl and Im not afraid to say I enjoy playing video games. I am married with two kids but everyone needs a stress reliever and thats what video games are for me. There is nothing like logging onto socom and shooting some people to make me feel better.
That whole thing was really creepy.Quote:

My own list on how one of you lucky ladies can nab a typical gamer:

Yep. Pretty easy.

Ok, I did not really read this all the way through, but I did skim it. It seems like the best comments seem to be the right one. Having gaming interest is a plus, but most important is that she respects that you game (and how much you game). My wife, over the years, has turned more and more into a gamer, and before we got together she gave away all her games over time. I got her back into gaming through stuff that she use to like and then expanded upon it. Now she spends about 1/2 as much time gaming as I do (which is alot). But we did not get together because she gamed, we got together because she respected it as my hobby.
