Top 3 Most Wanted Imaginary Games

yeah, pretty much, whatever game you'd want, on whatever console.

#1. Kojima text adventure game for DS. i think he'd do some great directing with the cinemas, especially if he made them jump from one screen to another. controls would be awesome too thanks to the touch screen. just touch whatever it is that you want to investigate or look at. so much potential here, im really hoping he makes a Snatcher sequal. or maybe translate Policenauts and add a good amount to it because of what the system offers. you know, really take advantage of what the system can offer.

#2. Card Fighters Clash DS. how can you go wrong here? best card battle game ever with a touch screen and online play. you're set for life.

#3. Klonoa for GameCube. i'd really love for Klonoa Works to go apeshit with the GameCube hardware.

Okay, I'll bite first.

#1. A Burning Rangers Sequel over Xbox Live. Make it just like the Saturn version overall, only instead of only hearing the other partners, the other partners will be played by real people. Also having a person being the Navigator, who has the entire floor plan for the level, and can see where the hot spots are and where fires are gonna break out, etc. They would get the level objectives and such, and have to delegate who goes where and lead the team, giving orders. Sonic Team always talked about making PSO a team experience, well, this game would be the ULTIMATE team game. Teamwork is built inherently into the game.

#2. A Panzer Dragoon RPG. Keep it in the same mold as PDS+PDO gameplay-wise, add a massive world to explore, and make it at least double the length of PDS (actually closer to triple would be better, PDS was a SHORT game) and I will be a happy man.

#3. TIE! :
- Shenmue 3, 4 5, WHATEVER it takes to complete the story. I don't care what it takes, just do it.
- Beyond Good and Evil 2. It has to be done. Michael Ancel even said in interviews that the story isn't done. Did you guys see the ending? Just like Shenmue, I don't care what it takes, just do it.

1. Not a game but... one, unified platform with support for 4 wireless controllers, optical audio out, progressive scan, a hard drive, onboard ethernet, and no regional lockouts.

2. 2D Castlevania on a console.

3. Street Fighter IV with no polygons, no air blocking, no "systems", and none of that other pussy shit introduced in the Alpha or EX series.

Marvel Super Heroes 2 -- ditch the lame Street Fighter characters and just go all out Marvel, with a similiar engine to MvC2. Include the Fantastic Four for good measure.

Chu Chu Rocket DS -- Naka hinted at this ever so slightly, please make it a reality.

Pulstar 2 -- We need more R-Type styled shooters these days. And Pulstar being the best of the bunch, a sequel to it seems the best way to go.

3. a Dawn of the Dead-type game (based on the original) with the GTA 3 engine.

Goldeneye-type games of all James Bond movies made by the same Rare team who made N64 Goldeneye (Dr. No, Live and Let Die, View to a Kill, Goldfinger, etc.)

Eternal Darkness 2 for Gamecube or next-gen hardware. Another really good story with similar gameplay, but much better graphics and a little bit longer.

Another good Phantasy Star, not PSO 1.974533 version 2.1 booster pack 7 alpha, but either a new online RPG or one like the Genesis versions. If the PS Chronicles meets one of these requirements, good. If it's a stupid MMORPG like Everquest they can go to hell.

I would love to see a RPG style game based on White Wolf's Werewolf the Apocalypse series developed by Bioware, something similar to to KoftR or Jade Empire in game play with real time battles instead of turn based :)

Another game I would like to see is one based off of Bones anime series Wolf's Rain, I would really love to see that and who knows maybe it will happen :D

Remakes of the first 2 Metal Gear games that we're on MSX completely redone with updated graphics similar to Metal Gear Solid 3, these would be awesome especially since Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake never made it out here or on anything but the MSX.

A tag-team wrestling game featuring the Olsen Twins, the Hilton sisters, and all the other over hyped, played out, yet hot media sluts.

A new Thunderforce shooter. Hell, I'd even take a remake of part 4. Or better yet, one big long TF game that starts at part 3 and goes through 4 and 5 and then into a new set of levels. It would have to be one giant game though, with like 40 stages.

An RPG that uses one of the amazing 3D enginges that were developed for racing games. Imaging a fantasy world built from the Rallisport 2 engine?

* A Capcom developed fighter with characters from the DC comics universe ie: Batman,Superman,Green Arrow etc. "Marvel vs. Capcom" style or not. Im sure Capcom could make it work.

* A brand spanking new quasi 2-D Bionic Commando game minus the top down perspective areas between the original games' stages (the enemy truck attacks or whatever)

* NightWarriors/Darkstalkers sequel with newly redrawn sprites -especially for one character-(you guys know which one Im talking about) -

* A Dragon Force sequel with full scale battles that look something akin to that new Lord of the Rings strat coming out soon.

* A new Vagrant Story, continuing where Ashly Riot left off at the end of the first game - no prequel mania please.And give the enemies a fighting chance, let them break some combos and give my Ashly the ability to counter THEIR counters and vice versa - If that makes any sense;just to make it more interesting :)

* Valkyrie Profile sequel - with the ability to explore a little more instead of having to just stop at certain monster hot spots or dungeons. Lezard,Arngrim,and Jun a must - maybe take the game to a perspective on the wars going on in Valhalla

* Lunar 3 - no remakes - new story , new characters - I can deal with ...er...uh.. a "recurring villian" in the series but thats it - new perpectives when walking around in dungeons/towns/etc. - same battle system (for some reason , I did like the original system)

Since we're dreaming:

1. If I can't get a 2D Castlevania, a PS2 sequel to Wolf Team's El Viento would be OK. Make it 2.5D and full of flashy anime character designs and special effects, okaythanks.

2. A Kid Icarus game for the Cube with a first-person view for archery. Please include a shooting stage or two, similar to the last level of the NES game. In fact, make that the whole game, for all I care. Like a Nintendo-esque Panzer Dragoon. A 2005 release date would be much appreciated, so get to work.

3. A Neutopia sequel from Hudson Soft for the PS2 would rock, as well. Keep the top-down angled view, but update it with polygonal visuals and an orchestral soundtrack.

Giga Wing 3 - Looks better than 2, more bullets, 50 digit scores stretching across the entire screen.

Sengoku Ace 3 - Vertical, looks as good as Dragon Blaze and generally dark, same basic formula as the latter day Psikyo shooters w/ the tech bonuses, greatness, etc.

Zero Gunner 3 - Looks better than 2 (more detail), more 'copters (5-6), fewer (5) but longer levels like the final few in 2, more bullets and harder bosses (especially the final boss). Make the final boss not an alien thing. That was dumb.

FF7-2

A Battle Royale online FPS for the PC that supports 40 players on island-sized maps and goes by the basic rules of the movies. The games would have epic lengths, at least 5 hours of exploring, item accumulation, and taking out each other.

Like Sl1p suggested, Team Fortress 2. I know that once Halflife 2 finally drops this thing will inevitably be coming out short after it. Team Fortress remains one of the funnest multiplayer experiences I've ever had, and the longest running game that I've played. The system requirements are so low that I can get away with playing the game on virtually any system (without being ridiculous).

While the new one won't have such low requirements, I want an updated 2fort, damnit. Yeah, technically what's the point? 2forts been played into the ground. Yes, well that ground is going to be high rez and glorious.

This game needs to come out.

Not really for the same series, or any in particular, but I'd love to see a video game that reproduces the black and white style of a few comics accurately.

I also want 3D Shadowrun game.

You are right not to believe my post. I'm going to have to go ahead and admit that I do not believe what I posted. In fact, I'm going to say that I knew that Team Fortress 2 was in fact, a real game. I only pre-ordered it back when I was in middle school.

I want to make this game called Brain Jail. It takes place in the future, and you play a hunky male character named Scott Carson who tries to retrieve his dead wife's memories from the evil dictator Zordon. But you're jailed for breaking some rubbish future law, like having your own thoughts. You have to escape from the enemies that materialize from floppy discs that look like dots...but they float around.

I've been thinking about something like this a lot over the years... so many good ways to do it with BotI... In the end all of the things we could dream would ultimatly get screwed up and turn into a really bad bushido blade.


so I'll take my "newbie" shot at it...

1. Chakan sequel... yeah so the one being developed for the DC was killed and ECM's promises that it was coming to a next-gen console (haha) has yet to come to fruition. reading about it in that old gamefan had me really excited... and what they talked about might actually be achievable on the next-gen consoles...(not ps2 GCN Xbox)

2. a 2D Final Fantasy fighter or just a Square super fighter for the xenogears characters... i wouldn't mind seeing id, vincent, and kain with GGX sprites... i could go on and on...

3. i think someone already mentioned something about it.. but a new hand-drawn Phantasy Star 5. no crappy PSO nuhrewalwack races.. just old school PS2/PS4 races/classes, hand drawn cut scenes, maybe a bit darker... badass story line... 2d isometric PoV... seems like you could implement so many great things into this game...

I just thought up this awesome game where Dyne tries to look like a big shit by finding a little flaw that no one else cares about in one of Sl1p's posts (the game will suck but so does reading your responces). A really great game based on Adam Warren's version of the Dirty Pair (which features the ever-popular pairing of scantily clad babes + lotsa shooting, so it'd likely sell quite well, to boot)

Sonic & Mario Invasion - Mario and his friends and enemies battle Sonic and his friends and enemies. You could select which side you want to be on to battle with.

Sunset Riders Rmake - I don't care if they just rerelease the same exact game, just bring it back in some way!

A Game With A Storyline Like Gargoyles - I can say one of the greatest written scripts for any TV show and movie is the cartoon Gargoyles. To see a game that carries out a storyline like Gargoyles would be marvelous.

Sunset Riders remake is the single greatest request that this thread garnered.
