Jackie Chan...

So being a big Jackie Chan fan I recently added Mr. Nice Guy to my collection. It was a pretty good movies with some cool fights and an awesome finale.
The thing that was best about this DVD was the biography was great! About 10 pages long and had a filmography for Jackie on it aswell. It even featured clips from the more famous movies. Great stuff.

A couple movies I'm looking into as my next purchases are: Police Story 1, First Strike, Drunken Master...

After City Hunter, Mr. Nice Guy was a great get back on track Chan movies. (City Hunter was really lame :))

He's not the martial artist Jet Li is, but he's a helluva better actor and I like that in 90% of his movies his hands end up on the breasts of a young, beautiful woman.

I prefer him more.

I like the comedy he brings to his movies more than a Jet Li straight up serious action movie.

I think Who Am I is my favorite Chan movie, despite it's utter, utter crap story. The fight scenes in it (esp. the one with the clogs) were really entertaining. I also liked the weird ass Singin' in the Rain reference he did in a fight in Shanghai Knights.

City Hunter I thought was funny as hell, goofy, but funny. Last fight scene and the Street Fighter fight scene are worth the price (its only $10 lol).

I'm a huge Jackie fan and I recommend his book "I am Jackie Chan" which is a very good book. I don't know which Jackie movies you've seen or have but I would recommend Wheels on Meals, Project A, and Dragons Forever (actually all three of those star his two "brothers" Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao)

City Hunter was still better than Chan's US work, like Rush Hour 1&2. Especially with better fight sequences.

Drunken Master is by far my favorite Jackie Chan movie, and my most favoritest kung fu movie of all time.

Jet Li is good, but, you know, he's just no JC.

Police Story is the shit. I really need to pick it up on DVD.

Why?

Are you saying that fight scenes in Rush Hour were on the level of City Hunter's Street Fighter fight, node to Game of Death fight with 2 big black dudes, or final fight against Richard Norton?

Comedy in City Hunter was silly, but at least it was nowhere as annoying as Crish Tucker bits, that make me cringe and not laugh.
