Arcade Contra controls pretty poorly by today's standards, where as NES contra is pretty good. I think controls alone give NES Contra the edge over arcade.
Lets keep all this pro -v- con emu shit out of this thread, neither side is going to convince the other to change their views.
Some collections of classic games are well worth it (see: MM Collection) while others (see: Nintendo’s GBA classic series) are ridiculous. The one from Nintendo that really gets me is Pac-Man. I can pick up Nintendo's version which is just the NES rom for $20 or go out and buy the GBA Pac-Man Collection with updates and other games for $10-$15, I mean come the fuck on N!?

The Super Mario Bros. port was lame too, since they already released the original SMB years ago as SMB Deluxe with a bunch of extras (including levels from SMB2j). All the GBA port has to offer over the previous GBC version is a larger resolution.
I would had preferred if Nintendo had rather release Donkey Kong Plus as they planned as a fifth Super Mario Advance title instead of this NES-mini crap.

Yeah, the Nintendo rereleases are a fucking rip off so I just won't buy them. It seems even more rediculous when you look at MegaMan collections. There are 10 games for 30 bucks versus 1 game for 20. I'm all for rereleases of old games, I just think they should adjust the price accordingly, but it's theirs to do with as they choose.
