Panasonic D-Snap

It looks like it's shitty as a still camera, and worse at video. Keep in mind how big a good quality MPEG is, and then ask yourself how far a 256 meg SD card is going to get you. Buy a Sony DSC-P100 if you want a good camera in that price range. It's 5 megapixels, has a really good Carl Zeiss lens, and is very fast. If you buy a 256 meg Memory Stick Pro to go with it, it'll have virtually no delay at all when taking a picture.

Yes I know that it has no optical zoom, and if you really want that option (I didn't mind not having it for the price, but it does suck not having it), well, the camera isn't for you. I should have stated that, thanks for saying something.

Yep. Even with a standard Memory Stick there's almost no delay.

Thanks for that site, lemme see if it has a review of my 5.18 megapixel Medion digi-cam, which cost $230, and came with an SD memory card, and other stuff. It's been a Godsend thus far.

I just read this review. The DSC-P100 sounds almost perfect, aside from the limited range of the flash (about 9 feet, but there's an accessory flash you can attach to it to extend the range to a good 16 feet). I think I'm sold. Thanks, man.

This page timed all of the functions of the P100...damn fast indeed.
