Top Ten Games Ever

I know this type of thread gets annoying, but we haven't done this for a while, and we have a bunch of worthless n00bs who probably want to contribute to the list. I'd like to see if our tastes have changed since the last one - if Metroid Prime still makes as many lists (it's still one mine), etc. It's also a great way to get recommendations, because if someone thinks a game is one of the best games they've ever played, the least you can do is rent the thing, or steal it off the interent, or something.

So here's my list:

I only did one game from each series, otherwise Super Metroid and Majora's Mask would be on there.

Ten is too hard. All of these games are easily top 5 material. I couldn't even fit Super Mario 3,world,64, or the Soul Reaver/Legacy of Kain series which to me is one giant game and the best story ever written in gaming history. I bet in a month from now, my list would look different just because there are so many great games to choose from throughout history.

Nice to see Jet Grind love on 5 out of the 9 lists so far. I'd have put both games but was trying to avoid multiples.
