How am I talking out of my ass? The Mets won 4 games, the Yankees won 2. You can bitch and whine all you want about who is the better team, but they both went out, on the field, and played six times, and the Mets won more times than the Yankees. Mets = superior.

Remember... the METS swept the YANKEES. Only a Yankees fan could be this stubborn and idiotic. If the Yanks would've won 4 out of 6 (which they didnt), I would've happily conceded the point. And, over the past few years... I have.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean a whole lot. The Grizzlies won 3 of 4 from the Spurs in the regular season, but the Spurs are clearly the better team (swept them in the playoffs as well). Montreal won 22 of 3 from St.Louis in MLB, but the Cardinals are far better.

The Yankees have a losing record against only 1 AL and was over .500 against the NL, while the Mets have a losing record against 5 NL teams and went 7-11 in AL/NL play. The Yankees have an RPI of .536 (tops in the ML) and the best record in baseball. The Mets have an RPI of .502 (16th in the ML) and are 2 games over .500.

I hate the Yankees just like everyone else, but I don't think anyone would take the Mets over them. And I traded Alex Rodriguez for an inconsistent pitcher and a guy on the DL, so I'm an idiot.

Thet Mets have a pretty good squad. The addition of Hidalgo seems like its really paying off. Another thing I'd like to note was the stellar defense the Mets played in this four game series. Spectacular shit, totally unlike them.

Phillies are trying to get Zito and I was wondering if they could trade the Mets Joe Kerrigan for Rick Peterson :D

Mets are still gonna finish 2nd in the division.
