Any good?

I've only played the demo.
Good? Possibly, but nothing I would buy. I like 3D platformers, but it just didn't strike me. The controls in the robot contraption are clunky and plus: cats = good, dogs = evil.
Picked it up a while ago for 10 bucks new, and still haven't opened it.
I read it was decent though.
Demo? Was it in OPM? I used to always buy the mag back then so I shouldn't have missed it.
I've had this since it came out, and just bit the bullet and played it recently.
It's decidedly mediocre in most respects. All it really has going for it is the cute furry characters and the anime-ish feel. The gameplay is pretty rough around the edges and uninteresting, IMO. Control can be annoying, too. Not a favorite.
Not sure.Quote:

I placed an order with some on-line retail place, possibly ebworld, and they packed it with a Tail Concerto demo disc. Pleasant surprise no matter what it is.
I do have about 20 OPM demos from 98-00, so I doubt it.
Thanks for impressions. It sounds pretty average so I probably won't bother tracking it down unless I see it dirt cheap.
I've wanted this game for years and years and finally found a used copy at EB for 7.99 (is that cheap enough?).
Tail Concerto can best be described as Mega Man Legends meets Ape Escape. The character designs are absolutely irresistible, the anime cut scenes are highly professional, and the English dub is relatively decent. However, Waffle controls like he's on ice, the camera can get nauseating, and the final dungeon seems like it was designed by a lunatic.
Tail Concerto's tolerable but there's bigger and better (like MML and Ape Escape).
Sadly, I haven't played Megaman Legends (or Tron Bonne) yet. I figure they're so common that I know I can find them any time, so I'm not in any rush.
If I see Tail Concerto at EB for that price, I'll pick it up.
The Misadventures of Tron Bonne is really good and deserves as little waiting as possible. Just all-around good fun.
Roger that.Quote:

It was a stand-alone demo that Atlus put out. You could get it at EBs and such.Quote:

As for the game itself, it was a fun, very cute 3D platformer with nice anime cutscenes between levels. The control was a little loose, and it was a little on the easy side, and the camera could be wonky at times, but I enjoyed it a lot. It had nice, Megaman Legends-style graphics and a good deal of gameplay variety. If you find it cheap, I'd say go for it.
I love that game! The Misadventures of Tron Bonne is an amazing game, and I see it going for as little as $10 new, so no one has an excuse for not owning it.Quote:

I actually pulled this game out, meant to play it, and placed it on a shelf. And then my TV died.
I'll play it soon enough.
And MML rocks, I love that game. Never got to finish part 2, though, one of my games that was stolen.
AGH! Tail Concerto is sweet as candy! If you like cute stuff and stories that make you go, "Awwwwwww..." it's worth the $40 it was new. However, I paid $10 for it and was very happy at what I got. The last dungeon certainly is annoying, and the last boss nearly claimed a controller (and probably some molars), but it's all worth it in the end.
Tron Bonne, WONDERFUl game. Buy it for Tron, keep it for the Servbots.
From Megaman Legends 2, the MML series is great as well. Oozing with personality, challenging, and fun to play. All that and it's $20-30 new.
Buy this game, this is probably one of the most underated 3D platform games out, I remember seeing it and picked it up for $15.00 maybe about a year ago and I had so much fun with this game. I would recommend it to anyone who likes 3D platformers, it is really a great game ^_^
I'm ashamed at most of you (except for Finch, which doesn't surprise me). TC is a great little game, and very similar to the MM Legends series (which I also loved). The interaction between the characters is great, and the game is plain and simply fun to play. There are a few times when the 3D platform aspect gets a bit tough to work out, but that happens in ALL 3D games of this nature.
And as shameful as it is, I STILL have not picked up Misadventures of Tron Bonne yet. *sigh*
Me either.Quote:

Next time I see it on the cheap I need to pick it up.
Buy Tail Concerto, its a fun game. For anything under $20, its a steal
Servbots! Servbots! Servbots!
or, if you prefer...
Kobun! Kobun! Kobun!
"Do pigs bite?"
Yes, little one, and you are much too cute for a pig snack. For this valuable information, I only ask that you take me with you to your beautiful mistress and mastress.
