I found the survival one taking a long time, 3 chapters each chapter with 3 different missions, while some were piss easy but a few of them sends you first far away north and then far away south. The reward after is good though, you can get a very good perk, but so many influences that it is almost impossible to aim for the best one to fit your char.
I think the difficult part of the GNR is outside, you know behemoth and you need to be careful how you kill it with the fatman not to kill some members of the brotherhood of steel with your mini mushroom explosion
That said, sorry if this has been posted here before. But check out codename Van Buren
Good stuff there. Enjoy.Quote:
Van Buren was the project name Black Isle Studios assigned to their version of Fallout 3.
The game was going to use an engine that Black Isle had made for Baldur's Gate 3, commonly referred to as the Jefferson Engine. It was fully 3D.
Mirelurks are such a pain in the ass.
Well grenades and mines take care of them easily, but should one surprised you and you happened to have a combat shotgun, don't bother with VATS, go FPS mode on it's ass and shoot it in the head, usually they kinda lean back a bit before thrusting forward, that's where you go BOOM HEADSHOT proceed to loot, works like a charm every time, and saves me a lot of bullets and stimpack as you pretty much one shot them.
I never used a fatman.
Yeah, the survival quest is probably the longest quest but since it was broken up into many different objectives I never thought of it as one big quest.
Or, take some Med-X & Psycho (plus maybe Jet; drugs are your friend), wait for Mirelurks to rush you, then crouch, VATS, and shotgun them in the face.
Started this and played for about an hour and I came to a single conclusion:
This game looks like ass on my computer. My comp will have trouble running this all the way through and playing at 800x600 when I have a HD tv behind me is just stupid. I no longer use a gaming computer and so, I uninstalled and will go out and get the x360 version or play my friend's ps3 version
