Mmm free DLC yum yum. I'm not gonna beat the game until after that comes out.
Since when does PC cost money for DLC? Or is it because it's a window's live game that they have to charge? In which case fuck ever buying a Window's live game again.
Oblivion for PC did the same thing. I don't know why you're so surprised.
Only a very few companies release significant free DLC these days.
Bleh fuck new games.
I am not sure here, but was the ones for Oblivion about $10? I seem to remember they were priced higher when they came out. In that case I am curious how much the last DLC will cost for Fallout 3, the one where the lvl cap goes up, will it be 800mps ($10) or the same price a full expansion pack costs..IIRC around +$25..
Definitely didn't enjoy this game remotely enough to spend another $25 on it. Especially not to have them rewrite the game lol. SO basically it sounds like they had to make up an ending because it wasn't going to ship on time.
Yeah, I have plenty of issues with Fallout 3 but incompleteness isn't one of them. I must have put at least 100 hours into it by now, with the first playthrough lasting at least 65 hours alone.
The early level cap doesn't strike you guys as a symptom of incompleteness? As in Bethesda knew it was going to release this content after the game hit retail?
It's pretty obvious that the level cap comes (far) too early, and that DLC was probably going to extend it. This means the retail release wasn't the full game, right?
You certainly can get plenty of mileage out of the box, but I think the cap should have been much higher.
And then rewriting the ending? WTF is that about? This
now makes the retail-release ending....not the end, doesn't it? Hence, incomplete. Extra side missions are one thing, but this is something else.Quote:
"It allows the player to continue exploring the ashen Wasteland and see the fruits that are born, or that die, from their decisions."
Without this content, you're not getting the full experience.
I liked the game, but this ticks me off.
