My favourite line: "Spokespersons for CNN and Fox Sports said yesterday they were not aware of any kids being named after their networks."
I'm totally naming my kid Fox Sports World. I'm sure my future wife will be cool with that. Apparently there are enough people who have named their children after ESPN that the network is doing a special on them.
That's alot of stupid people.
I do community service in Watts LA during the school year, and one of the little girls at the event was named Hennessey.
I'm going to name my kid Cartoon Network.
At least they had the tact to give them proper first names as a fallback plan for the kids...
I remember reading about that ESPN kid a long time ago, along with a bunch of other people named after brand names, such as Canon, "Yes, my that's my name, such like the camera".
my name (first + last) is very close to Maxwellhouse coffee. I know the pain these children will face in life. :(

I was in the produce section of the supermarket a few years back shopping with my girlfriend. I saw this strange fruit....looked like a mellon with sharp spikes all over it. If you put it on the end of a stick you'd have the edible version of a medieval mace. Anyway, I had no idea WTF it was...Since it didn't have a name of its own I figured it must be called a "weapon fruit". Then I saw the portabella mushrooms.... I was struck with the overwhelming urge to call my first born daughter "Portabella Whepunfrut" (with Motley Crue dots over the second "u" in Whenpunfrut). My girlfriend wasn't so hot on the idea. :p
