It's just an exclusive variant cover, really. The same collection has been out elsewhere for a few months (with a Cammy/Chun Li cover by Shinkiro). No complaints here; regardless of whether it really fits being sold in Blockbuster, any measure to get a great comic into the hands of a larger audience is fine with me.

It's just the second printing of the TPB, so it's not exclusive, except for that particular cover. Street Fighter is a video game and Blockbuster rents them out. Doesn't sound too bad. Udon is dealing with other distributers too from what I read. The more exposure the SF comics get, the better! Cause so far, I only see them at comic shops!

If only the blockbusters in my area weren't total halfall pieces of shit, they would get something like this.

Do some BB's have game accessory sections? All my local BlockBusters don't sell anything game related & had no idea what I was asking about when I called about this.

Well I talked to a manager at a local BBV, & all promotional items like this are subject to the franchise owners. Apparently the people who run ALL the blockbuster video stores in my area generally don't participate in promotions at all.

I guess I'm shit out of luck if I want an Akuma controller, since it is a BBV exclusive.

Good for you. All the BBVs in my area (within a 60 mile radius) do not carry any gaming accessories at all. :/

I know I could order it online, but I'm not going to pay for shipping when I could just get one of the other character themed controllers next week at GS or EB.
