Free iPod deal

I see... everyone who is going through with this and also doing the eBay requirement, MAKE SURE you sign up for a new account first (also, make a new e-mail account over at walla.com so you won't have to give ebay your credit card number if your original e-mail is with a free web based provider). Apparently it is 100% necessary to make a BRAND NEW ebay account, and then do your bidding via someones referral. So shioshi/Smooth Criminal, make sure you read "http://www.sphid.com/misc/ipod/" carefully. I'm doing both of yours tonight.

Second, two things are currently confusing points to me. First, if you sign up to ebay via freeipods.com's link, but you go back later to ebay and use that account to place a bid, do you have to get to ebay again via the freeipods.com link? I signed up via that link, but went back later straight to ebay.

Second, I wonder if I haven't gotten credit yet because I did a Buy it now auction instead of actually putting in a bid. It should still count technically, but maybe not.

You only have to register under the freeipods link, you can bid with just being on ebay.com with your new name.

I don't think BIN matters, probably takes a different amount of time to process.
