These Horror Movies get me so excited so I'll try to contain myself but if it's anything let the original I can't wait. I hope this will live up to my expectations, I have heard rumors of problems on the set and re-writes not the best sign but I'm going in with high hopes!
We shall see. Original Exorcist is a classic (even though I am personally think its a bit overrated), part 2 was horrible, and part 3 is awesome (and quite scary too).
With Renny Harlin at the helm (who was brought in as a replacement director in the middle of the shoot), things can go either way. I usually like Harlin's work both in horror (Prison, Nighmare on Elm Street 4), and action (Die Hard 2, Long Kiss Goodnight), so I hope that he does a good job here.
This movie has fiasco written all over it. I can't wait to not watch it.
Trailer was pretty good. Looking forward to this movie.
It looks like an adventure movie.
Was this the one where when the studio saw the final cut they freaked out (not scary or gory or something),got a new director and redid just about everything? It'll be interesting to see how it turned out.
Original Exorcist is in my top ten Horror films of all time.
You guys must see the Excorcist "The Version you've never
seen" Young Linda Blair is one of the cutest girls I've
ever seen, which helps the Movie work so well.
The "spider walk" scene they added back into that version was mega freaky.Quote:
